In three years of instructing SEND young adults, I have witnessed from the beginning of the SEND year to the end a definite transformation in young adults who were uncertain of God’s call in their lives to certainty. That certainty, with the call, is equaled by a passion for souls intensified by their commitment to obeying the Lord. All the students I have worked with demonstrate growth in the Word of God especially in making personal practical application to their own lives. One very important quality develops in their relationship with one another, that being, the effectiveness of teamwork, that is, getting along with one another to accomplish their common goals. I have not seen any program in one year cause young people to comprehend and assimilate the process of mission better than SEND.
