Greetings in Christ! Happy New Year! While old man winter is packing a punch and trying to stop us, we do not care because we are on a mission. A mission to be salt and to be light! While in SEND we serve Jesus and follow his command to “make your light shine, so that others will see the good that you do and will praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 16. After having a great time of rest during our Christmas break, we have had an incredible launch into the New Year moving the ministry forward and into full force in discipleship and missionary training. We thank you for your interest and support of SEND North America. Please remember to be on the lookout for young adults you could refer to SEND for our 2014-15 training season! Mission Experience: Warm A Heart
The snow started falling harder throughout the afternoon. The roads were getting covered and the wind and cold temperatures were falling drastically. After a great teaching with Pastor Tom Schaeffer at the SEND Training Center, we were heading out into the world for mission. Like all Thursdays, it is our favorite time of the SEND week. To get out into our community and serve. To use what we are learning and do ministry with and for our neighbors.
