THE 2015-2016 SEND TEAM

Meet the team of young adults for 2015-2016. Their 10-month adventure began September 2015 and they will graduate in June 2016.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”119″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]Jean Elisee Heureuse, also known as Ze, is originally from Haiti and grew up in a Christian family. He moved to Belize in 2009, went to University of Belize, and was pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He worked as a Brand Manager and a Data Analyst. He is married to Ajani and is the father of a beautiful daughter, Elysia. He is the vice president and the coordinator of the men’s ministry at Victory Assembly of God Church in Ladyville, Belize. He is a bass player, a singer, and a composer. He speaks three different languages (English, Spanish, and French). He loves the Lord and he is now studying at SEND North America—his desire is to become a pastor. He has four older sisters, two older brothers, and three younger brothers. He was raised in the church and knew who God was, but really came to Christ when he was about 15 years old. About a year after he came to Christ, he went on his first mission trip to Indianapolis, Indiana. God changed everything on one night during that trip—He changed the course of Quinn’s life and put him on a path to do something that will bring Him Glory. Quinn doesn’t know exactly what that calling is yet, and that is why he is in SEND North America—to get equipped with the right tools, grow closer to God, and to find out what He wants him to do with his life. She feels called to pursue Christian counseling after her 10 months of SEND training, but she also feels the call of international missions as well. Sarah’s favorite part of SEND so far has been meeting her host family; they have really made it feel like home! Her favorite bible verse is Matthew 28:18-20 “Then, Jesus came to them and said, ’All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations and baptize them in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Sarah loves playing sports, especially basketball and volleyball. She also enjoys animals, particularly her dog named Espn (yes, like the sports channel!) and her turtle, Todd. Sarah’s “bucket list” would include going parasailing and traveling the world.
