Greeting in Christ!
Church Doctor Ministries loves you and thanks God for you and your support of young adults and SEND North America. Without you, this important initiative we have been called to birth would not be possible! Your prayers and support have been a blessing to the young adults who have been through the SEND experience. Because of you their lives are changed forever.
I love the team of people God has sent to us to keep the SEND movement moving! I want to lift up to you specifically, Kenzie Ritchie and John Wargowsky. These two individuals have taken on the day to day operations and management of SEND along with working on recruiting young adults for our next unit starting in September 2015. They really are amazing in the work they do. Their excitement and enthusiasm help carry out the SEND vision. What’s not to love about people who are called and excited about serving in ministry?
We already have two young adults signed up for our fall unit and Kenzie is well on her way to our goal of 12! Please add John and Kenzie to your prayer lists as they continue to help carry out the vision of reaching young adults and transforming lives through SEND.
SEND has had a few stops and starts since June of 2014, however, I want you to know (as a friend of SEND) we remain committed and even more excited about SEND. Recently, we received the final installment of a major grant. That is a great blessing to the ministry. However, since we will not have tuition funds coming in until August of 2015 our funding for SEND will fall short of what is needed.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to cover the expenses of the work John and Kenzie are doing for SEND. Funds donated to the SEND general fund from February 2015 through August 2015 will help fund the following projects:
- Registration fees for conferences and events for young adults where Kenzie will be able to have a display table, speak on behalf of SEND, and reach out to recruit more young adults.
- A redesign of the current SEND website, updating marketing materials, and creating new materials for Kenzie to use to build relationships with young adults.
- The creation of video resources for young adult pastors and youth ministry leaders to use to help them understand important strategies of reaching young adults and communicating the message and purpose of SEND.
- Finally, funds will go toward helping to partially underwrite the part time salary for John, and the full time salary for Kenzie. Both salaries are currently being funded by Church Doctor Ministries general funds.
Would you prayerfully consider helping us during this time to cover the gap we have between February and August? Your support would help us keep the important work of reaching young adults moving forward. Would you help us reach our goal of generating $15,000 to fill the gap we have until August?
Would you commit to praying for Kenzie and John, as well as our fall SEND team so far, Quinn and Elisee, and for the other young adults God will raise up to participate in SEND?
